Sustainability is at the heart of our business at Vectis Refrigeration; we care about supply chains, and work hard to measure and reduce carbon emissions within our own operations as well as for our clients.
Making the right choices in your supply chain is very important. Within our own business we have made some significant changes to the way in which we approach sustainability.
We have changed two of our fleet to electric, we hold a substantial stock of parts to help reduce the number of deliveries to the island, and by keeping our services local, we reduce the number of miles on the road. We have also partnered with Clade Engineering, sustainable UK heat pump manufacturers, who are committed to using natural refrigerants. This is just the start of our journey, and we will continue to review and improve our operations on our way to becoming carbon neutral.
We design and install heat pump systems, and help clients improve the efficiency of their existing cooling and heating systems, utilising natural refrigerants where possible that will help to reduce emissions. One way we do this is by engaging our clients in planned maintenance packages that can help identify system issues before they happen. We also offer Emissions audits which can incorporate regulatory FGAS leak tests to identify and rectify any refrigerants losses.
